The Learning Link Offers
One-to-One Tutoring
We offer individualized one-to-one Tutoring or small group Tutoring. Our Tutors utilize various tools in order to fill in educational gaps or academic weaknesses in all subject areas.
Our goal is for all our children to succeed. We believe that if we build their self-confidence thru positive reinforcement, teach them how to enjoy the learning process and give them strategies on "how to study", we can achieve this goal.
We encourage our children to think creatively, to ask questions freely and to get the answers they need which may have not been fully addressed in a larger classroom setting.
Our Tutors provide expert instruction for students at all levels.

In order to maximize a student’s intellectual potential and generate the greatest academic improvement, our Tutors understand they need to focus on improving these areas ofprocessing:
• Visual Processing – We help improving the efficiency at which a student can process visual information. This affects their ability to generate, store, retrieve, and transformvisual images. The quality of a student’s reading comprehension is in relation to thestrength of their visual processing.
• Processing Speed – Increasing the speed at which a student’s brain processes information.
• Long Term Memory – Improving the storage and recall of information over a long periodof time (days, months, years).
• Working Memory – Ever-increasing the quantity and duration of working memory. Itrelates to the short-term memory necessary to complete a task that requires short termmemory such as when completing a mental calculation.
• Critical Thinking – Enhance critical and logical thinking used to draw conclusions.• Selective Attention – Improving the ability to concentrate on a specific task and evadedistractions. A student with deficits in selective attention has difficulty focusing because ofdistractions going on around them or within there own thought.
